What do we do in The T-Exchange?

Become an experts in 3D Printing!

And take part in Science Festivals
The Orkney International Science Festival - Friday 7th September

About 30 young visitors to the festival on Family Day in Kirkwall Grammar School built a model DNA molecule 9.6m. long.

The model was constructed from 1,152 3D printed components and must have been the longest model DNA molecule in Scotland that day....

On visits to Orkney schools during the festival, pupils worked in pairs using the DNA model parts to assemble 'butterfly' genes.  The gene code was then read into a computer program, which 'hatched' the 3D butterflies  shown above.  The butterflies were then 3D printed for the pupils to paint.

Oh!....  YES!....   YES!!...    YES!!!  A printer's dozen of Micro-Bit cases!!
Come on Bit-Coders - They're ready or you!
